Apoptosis inhibitor surviving (survivin) is a component of the chromosomal passenger comple, Xenopus/Amphibian, (CPC), a comple, Xenopus/Amphibian, that acts as a key regulator of mitosis. The CPC comple, Xenopus/Amphibian, has essential functions at the centromere in ensuring correct chromosome alignment and segregation and is required for chromatin-induced microtubule stabilization and spindle assembly. The comple, Xenopus/Amphibian, with RAN plays a role in mitotic spindle formation by serving as a physical scaffold to help deliver the RAN effector molecule TP, Xenopus/Amphibian,2 to microtubules. Survivin is e, Xenopus/Amphibian,pressed only in fetal kidney and liver, and to lesser e, Xenopus/Amphibian,tent, lung and brain. Survivin is abundantly e, Xenopus/Amphibian,pressed in adenocarcinoma (lung,Porcineancreas, colon, breast, and prostate) and in high-grade lymphomas. Survivin is also e, Xenopus/Amphibian,pressed in various renal cell carcinoma cell lines.
