Syndecan-4 is a small type I transmembrane heparan sulfate proteoglycan, involved in intracellular communication. Syndecan-4 is universally expressed and is found in virtually every cell type and has a role in focal adhesion formation, cell migration and growth factor signaling.
Sequence:
The extracellular domain of human syndecan-4 (aa 1-145) is fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG1.
Storage and Stability:
Short-term Storage: +4 degrees C
Long-term Storage: -20 degrees C
Working aliquots are stable for up to 3 months when stored at -20 degrees C.
