Additional Information

This protein is an integral membrane protein containing four transmembrane regions and a C-terminal cytoplasmic tail that is tyrosine phosphorylated. The exact function of this protein is unclear, but studies of a similar rat protein suggest that it may play a role in regulating membrane traffic in non-neuronal cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:32,000 Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml, observed in human lung and skeletal muscle lysates on ~25kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
