Beta-synuclein (amino acids 1-134), an acidic neuronal protein of 134 amino acids, is extremely heat-resistant. B-synucelin also has a chaperone-like activity. Recently, b-synuclein has been suggested to inhibit b-synuclein aggregation. Recombinant Human b-Synuclein produced in E.Coli is a single,non-glycosylated polypeptide chain having a molecular mass of 14,287 Dalton. The Recombinant Human b-Synuclein is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
