Fourteen TBP-associated factors (TAFs) and the TATA-binding protein (TBP) form the TFIID complex, which is used to recognize core promoters. TAF6 is known to have a histone fold domain (HFD) and is associated with histone H4. TAF6 is pivotal to the transcription of the p53 tumor suppressor protein and a splice variant of TAF6, TAF6delta, has been found to be essential for apoptosis signaling without p53.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 0.1ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nMouse embryonic stem cell lysate\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
