TCR, gamma, delta (T Cell Receptor) (PE/CY5)

Cat no: T2040-06K

TCR, gamma, delta (T Cell Receptor) (PE/CY5)

The TCR gamma, delta heterodimer of the CD3/T-cell receptor complex is clonotypic and consists of Ig-like variable and constant domains.1 It is expressed during thymopoiesis and on the small subpopulation of gamma, delta TCR-expressing T lymphocytes in the periphery. The majority of T cells present in some epithelial tissues are gamma, delta+ and have limited receptor diversity. The TCR gamma, delta heterodimer recognizes peptide antigen bound to MHC antigens, and subsequent signal transduction mediated by the invariant chains leads to T cell activation.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nFlow Cytometry: (same/less than)0.3ug/10e6 cells\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degrees C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months at 4 degrees C. Freezing PE/CY5 conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE/CY5 conjugates are sensitive to light.

Additional Info

Recognizes gamma/delta T-cell receptor (TCR) complex. Specific for the gamma, delta heterodimer and plate-bound antibody activates gamma, delta TCR-bearing cells. Does not react with alpha, beta TCR-expressing T cells.
