TGase 2 (Transglutaminase 2 (C polypeptide, protein-glutamine-gamma-glutamyltransferase), G-ALPHA-h, GNAH, Protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferase 2, TG(C), TG2, TGM2, TGase C, TGase H, TGC, Tissue transglutaminase, Transglutaminase-2, Transglutaminas

TGase II is implicated in programmed cell death, signal transduction, drugresistance, cell growth, endocytosis, insulin secretion, cell adhesion, cataract formation, and wound healing. \nExcellent for staining of endothelial cells in mouse tissues.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions: \nImmunoprecipitation (Native verified): 10ug/mg protein lysate. Use Protein A. \nWestern Blot: 5-10ug/ml for 2hrs at RT \nImmunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 5-10ug/ml for 30 min at RT. Note: Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. \nOptimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.\n\nPositive Control: \nHUVEC cells. Breast carcinoma. \n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
