Thymine Dimer (Cyclobutane Pyrimidine Dimer, CPD)

This antioody is intended for the detection of DNA damage as a result of UV irradiation.\n\nHybridoma: \nMouse myeloma (P3/X63-Ag8) x immunized mouse (Balb/c) spleen cells\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry, Southern Blot, Northern Blot, and Dot Blot. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nIn situ Hybridization: 1:40-1:80. Frozen sections of fixed tissue or formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections are recommended.\nSouthern, Northern and Dot Blot: For the detection of thymine dimers in UV-damaged DNA and thymine-dimerized DNA probes used for in situ. (reported to work, but no data is available)\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
