Thyroglobulin (Tg, TG, AITD 3, AITD3, hTG, TDH3, TGN)

Thyroglobulin (Tg) is synthesized by the follicular epithelial cells of the thyroid and secreted from the thyroid gland with the stimulation of TSH and/or thyroid stimulating immunoglobulins. Thyroglobulin is a prognostic marker for Graves` disease. Thyroglobulin has been useful in the positive identification of thyroid carcinomas of the papillary and follicular types.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:20,000-1:100,000\nWestern Blot: 1:50-1:200\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
