TIP 39 (Tuberoinfundibular Peptide of 39 Residues)

Tuberoinfundibular peptide of 39 residues is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PTH2 gene.[1][2]. TIP39 is related to parathyroid hormone (PTH; MIM 168450) and PTH-related protein (PTHRP; MIM 168470) and is a ligand for PTH receptor-2 (PTHR2; MIM 601469) (John et al., 2002).[supplied by OMIM][2]\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA, RIA. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:4000\nRIA: 1:2000\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
