Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor (TFPI, Lipoprotein Associated Coagulation Inhibitor, LACI)

Applications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml. Detects a band of approximately 50kD in HeLa cell lysates. A minimum incubation time of 1 hour is recommended for this antibody.\nOptimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher.\n\nRecommended Secondary Antibodies:I\nI1904-28G: IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab DkxGt\n1904-61G: IgG H&L, X-adsorbed (HRP) Pab DkxSh\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

TFPI is a protease inhibitor that helps to maintain haemostasis by inhibiting factor Xa and the Factor VIIa/Tissue factor (TF) complex.
