mRNA Array is made from the same high-quality mRNA used in our Northern Blots and is supplied ready-to-use. mRNA is spotted on a modified positively charged nylon membrane. These arrays are the most ecnomical tool on the market for rapid detection of gene expression in a wide variety of human normal, fetal, or tumor tissues.\n\nmRNA arrays are manufactured using high quality mRNA from documented tissues or cell lines. The tissues are excised, immediately frozen, and then characterized pathologically. mRNAs are isolated from these tissues using proprietary techniques. The mRNAs from different tissues are then spotted in duplicate onto a modified positively charged nylon membrane. Each spot contains the same amount of mRNA across the Array. The quality of each array is ensured by Northern analysis of a representative mRNA Array with a probe against GAPDH.
