Applications: Suitable for use in BL, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Cellular Localization: Type I membrane protein. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 3 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Additional info: This antibody recognizes the human Toll like receptor 4 (TLR4) cell surface antigen.TLR4 has been demonstrated to act as alpha receptor for LPS on human monocytes and macrophages. TLR4 signalling of LPS stimulation requires the presence of the MD-2 molecule.TLR4 is weakly expressed by resting cells, but is upregulated following stimulation with LPS. This antibody has been demonstrated to block activation of monocytes with LPS. Species Crossreactivity: Crossreacts with Human and Guinea pig.
