TNF-alpha, Mouse, BioAssay(TM) ELISA Kit (Tumor Necrosis Factor Ligand Superfamily Member 2, TNF-a, Cachectin, TNF, TNFA, TNFSF2)

The mouse TNF-alpha BioAssay(TM) Kit is a sandwich ELISA. The capture antibody is a monoclonal mouse TNF-alpha antibody pre-coated onto the 96-well strip plates provided in the kit. Mouse test samples and standards of known TNF-alpha concentration are added to these wells and allowed to complex with the bound TNF-alpha antibody. A biotinylated mouse TNF-alpha polyclonal antibody is then added. This detection antibody binds to the antigen thus completing the sandwich. After washing, an enzyme Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase complex (ABC) is added which binds to the second antibody. The peroxidase substrate TMB is added to induce a colored reaction product. The intensity of this colored product is directly proportional to the concentration of TNF-alpha present in the samples.\n\nIntended Use:\nThe purpose of this kit is the in-vitro quantitative determination of mouse TNF-alpha in samples such as sera, plasma, tissue lysates and cell culture supernates. This BioAssay(TM) kit has been configured for research use only and is not to be used in diagnostic or clinical procedures.\n\nSensitivity:\n<1pg/ml\n\nRange:\n15.6pg/ml-1000pg/ml for body fluids, tissue lysates or cell culture supernates. \n7.8pg/ml-500pg/ml for mouse sera.\n\nKit Components:\nLyophilized recombinant mouse TNF-alpha standard (Reagent A), 4x10ng/tube\nPlate pre-coated with anti-mouse TNF-alpha antibody, 2x96wells\nSample diluent buffer, 2x30ml\nBiotinylated anti-mouse TNF-alpha (Reagent B), 2x130ul, dilution 1:100\nAntibody diluent buffer, 2x12ml\nAvidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex (ABC), 2x130ul, dilution 1:100\nABC diluent buffer, 2x12ml\nTMB color developing agent, 2x10ml\nTMB stop solution, 2x10ml\n\nStorage and Stability:\nStore other components at 4 degrees C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
