Topoisomerase II alpha DNA

Topo IIa plays important roles in synthesis and transcription of DNA as well as chromosomal segregation during mitosis. It is reported to be a sensitive and specific marker of late S-, G2-& M-phases in transformed and developmentally regulated normal cells. Note that Ki67/M1B1 is also present in G1-phase. Topo IIa is also implicated in drug resistance of tumor cells.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunoprecipitation (use Protein A): 10ug/mg protein lysate\nWestern Blot: 5-10ug/ml for 2 hrs at RT.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control: \nRaji cells or exponentially growing any cultured human cells.\n\nStorage and Stability: \nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
