Recombinant Human soluble Trail also called TNF-related apoptosis-inducing Ligand, TNFSF10, Apo2 Ligand AND TL2 produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 168 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 19.6kD. TRAIL is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.\n\nAmino Acid Sequence: \nThe sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Arg-Glu-Arg-Gly-Pro.\n\nBiological Activity: \nRecombinant Human TRAIL is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The activity is determined by the ability to induce apoptotic cell death in TRAIL-sensetive U343MG cells, ED50 for this effect is 1-3 ng/ml.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O, 0.1% HSA or BSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
