Transcription factor AP4 is a member of the basic-helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factors, which bind to the E-box sequence in the promoters of their target genes. AP-4 has been shown to act both as a repressor and an activator for different target genes. Sequence (linear): KVPSLQHFRKTEK Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blotting, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and or Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute to nominal volume (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
