Transforming Growth Factor Beta-1, Mouse, BioAssay(TM) ELISA Kit (TGFB1, TGFB, TGF-beta-1)

The mouse Transforming growth factor beta-1 (TGFb1) BioAssay(TM) Kit is a sandwich ELISA. The capture antibody is a polyclonal TGFb1 antibody pre-coated onto the 96-well strip plates provided in the kit. Mouse test samples and standards of known TGFb1 concentration are added to these wells and allowed to complex with the bound TGFb1 antibody. A biotinylated TGFb1 polyclonal antibody is then added. This detection antibody binds to the antigen thus completing the sandwich. After washing, an enzyme Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase complex (ABC) is added which binds to the second antibody. The peroxidase substrate TMB is added to induce a colored reaction product. The intensity of this colored product is directly proportional to the concentration of TGFb1 present in the samples. \n\nIntended Use:\nThe purpose of this kit is the in-vitro quantitative determination of mouse TGFb1 in samples such as sera, plasma, tissue lysates and cell culture supernates.
