Transforming Growth Factor beta1, Human (TGFb1) BioAssay(TM) ELISA Kit

Cat no: T8250-15B

Transforming Growth Factor beta1, Human (TGFb1) BioAssay(TM) ELISA Kit

This Transforming Growth Factor beta1, Human (TGFb1) BioAssay(TM) ELISA Kit is a 3 hour solid phase immunoassay readily applicable to measure TGFb1 levels in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant and other biological fluids in the range of 0 to 2500pg/m. It showed no cross reactivity with various other cytokines superfamily proteins. This TGFb1 ELISA kit is expected to be effectively used for further investigations into the relationship between TGFb1 and various diseases.\n\nTransforming Growth Factor beta1, Human (TGFb1) BioGene(TM) ELISA Kit, is to be used for the in vitro quantitative determination of human transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-b1) concentrations in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant and other biological fluids. It is intended for research use only and is not for use in diagnostic procedures.\n\nSensitivity:\nCalibrator Diluent I: (same/more than)9.0pg/ml\nCalibrator Diluent II: (same/more than)9.0pg/ml\n\nRange: 78.1-2500pg/ml\n\nKit Components:\n8250-15B1: TGFb1 Microtiter Plate, 1x96 wells. Pre-coated with anti-human TGFb1 monoclonal antibody.\n\nT8250-15B2: TGFb1 (Biotin), 1x7ml. Anti-human TGFb1 polyclonal antibody conjugated to Biotin. \n\nT8250-15B3: Avidin (HRP), 1x14ml.\nAvidin conjugated to horseradish peroxidase.\n\nT8250-15B4: TGFb1 Standard, 2x1vials. Recombinant human TGFb1 (4000pg/vial) in a buffered protein base with preservative, lyophilized.\n\nT8250-15B5: Calibrator Diluent I, 1x25ml. Animal protein with buffer and preservative. For TGFb1 serum/plasma testing.\n\nT8250-15B6: Calibrator Diluent II, 1x25ml. Cell culture medium with animal protein and preservative. For TGFb1 cell culture supernatant testing. \n\nT8250-15B7: Wash Buffer (20X), 1x60ml. 20-fold concentrated solution of buffered surfactant.\n\nT8250-15B8: Substrate A, 1x10ml. Buffered solution with H2O2.\n\nT8250-15B9: Substrate B, 1x10ml. Buffered solution with TMB.\n\nT8250-15B10: Stop Solution, 1x14ml. 2N Sulphuric Acid (H2SO4).\n\nSpecificity: \nKit recognizes both natural and recombinant human TGF-b1. The factors listed below were prepared at 50pg/ml. In Calibrator Diluent I and Calibrator Diluent II and assayed for cross-reactivity. Preparations of the following factors at 50 pg/ml. In a mid-range hTGF-b1Control were assayed for interference. No significant crossreactivity or interference was observed.\n\nCrossreactivity:\nFactor Concentration Tested (pg/ml) Observed Value (pg/ml) % Cross-reactivity\nrhLatent TGF-b1 10,000 1.244 12.4\nrh TGF-b1,2 10,000 671 6.7\nrh TGF-b2 50,000 41.9 0.08\nrh TGF-b3 50,000 58.4 0.12\nrh TGF-b5 50,000 962 1.9\n\nStorage and Stabiity:\nStore components at 4 degrees C. Stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
