TREML1 is a type I transmembrane protein that differs from TREM in the cytoplasmic region by having two ITIMs (Immunoreceptor Tyrosine-based Inhibition Motif). A splice variant lacking ITIMs in its cytoplasmic domain also exists. TREML1 is found only in platelets and megakaryocytes. The extracellular region of human and mouse TLT-1 share 75% amino acid sequence identity.
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:2000
Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml detects ~30kDa band observed in Human Bone Marrow lysates (calculated MW of 32.7kDa according to NP_835468.1).
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
