A subset of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor family contain a conserved intracellular motif, the death domain. A member of this family, TRICK2, the TRAIL (TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand) receptor inducer of cell killing 2) is expressed in a number of cell types, and to particularly high levels in lymphocytes and spleen. TRICK2, like DR4, is a receptor for TRAIL/APO-2L [2,3] and could inhibit TRAIL-induced killing.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:
Whole cell lysate from HL60, HeLa or Jurkat cells.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
