Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Peptide ELISA: 1:16,000. Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml. A band is detected at 48kD in Human Brain, Mouse Brain lysates and in lysates of Mouse putuitary cell line NIH3T3 (calculated MW of 51.6kDa according to NP_004227.1). Immunohistochemistry: 3-5ug/ml In paraffin embedded Human Thyroid Gland shows nuclear and cytoplasm staining in activated epithelial cells. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
