Cardiac troponin C belongs to the EF-hand superfamily of calcium-binding proteins and plays an essential role in the regulation of muscle contraction and relaxation.\n\nRecombinant Human TNC is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain having a molecular mass of 18,020D.\n\nDimers and Aggregates:\n(same/less than) 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis.\n\nProtein Content:\nProtein quantitation was carried out by:\n0.25-5.0mg/ml Bradford assay vs. BSA\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
