Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha (Azide Free) (TNFa)

TNF alpha is produced by a range of cells, including macrophages and monocytes and is an important mediator of the equine inflammatory response. This 17kD cytokine is expressed by activated macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, T cells and NK cells.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (frozen) and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. \n\nRecommended Dilution: \nELISA: 1-10 ug/mlFlow Cytometry: Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100u\nOptimal dilution determined by the researcher. \n\nEndotoxin Level: \n<0.015 EU/ug\n\nRecommended Secondary Reagents: \nF(ab')2 rabbit anti rat IgG:FITC \nF(ab')2 rabbit anti rat IgG:RPE\n\nImmunohistochemistry: \nRecommended Secondary Reagents: \nF(ab')2 rabbit anti rat IgG:HRP \n\nRecommended Negative Controls: \nRat IgG1 Negative Control\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
