Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha, (TNFa) (Biotin)

Mouse tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF alpha) is a 17kD cytokine produced by monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, NK cells and CD4+ T cells. TNF alpha forms dimers and trimers, and is also found as a 26kD integral membrane protein. Mouse TNF alpha has cytolytic activity against many tumor cell lines, and has an important immuno-regulatory role.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry and ELISA. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nFlow Cytometry: Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Membrane permeabilization is required.\nELISA: 1-10ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nRecommended Pair:\nCapture: T9160-24D\nDetection: T9160-14\n\nRecommended Secondary Reagents:\nS7973-96B: Streptavidin (FITC)\nS7973-92F2: Streptavidin (RPE)\n\nRecommended Negative Controls: \nI1904-76K: Rat IgG1 Negative Control\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
