Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha (TNFa)

Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha (TNF-alpha) is a cytokine which has diverse immunomodulatory, anti-tumor and toxic effects. TNF-alpha has been detected in diverse inflammatory status and appears to be a critical mediator in the lethality of septic shock. Furthermore, TNF-alpha has also been found in inflammatory foci such as synovial effusions in rheumatoid arthritis, systemic circulation in septic shock, parasitemia and rejection of renal transplants.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot and Neutralization. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin): 1:10\nFlow Cytometry: 1:10\nWestern Blot: 1:10\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
