Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor 2, p75/p80 (TNFR2, CD120b) (Biotin)

TNF-RII is present on most cell types and is considered to play a prominent role in cell stimulation by TNF-alpha. TNF-RII molecule is shown to be responsible for stimulation of activated T-lymphocytes by TNF-alpha.\n\nApplications:\nThe antibody is an agonistic antibody (after cross-linking) and receptor modulating antibody useful for cell culture experiments, Flow Cytometry and Immunohistology on frozen sections. Furthermore the antibody is useful for Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and immunoassays. The reactivity of the antibody with cell-bound TNF-Receptor is minimally inhibited by high concentrations of TNF-alpha .\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistology: 1:10\nFlow Cytometry: 1:10\nWestern Blot: 1:10\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nRecommended Positive Control:\nAdvised positive controls for frozen sections are human lymphnodes and for flow cytometry PHA activated T cells.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20 degrees C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
