TNF-alpha belongs to the tumor nexrosis factor family and is believed to play roles in antitumor activity, immune moedulation, infalmmation, anorexia, cachexia, septicshock, viral replication and ematopoiesis. TNF-alpha is currently being evaluated in treatment of certain cancers and AIDS related symptoms. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human TNF-alpha, expressed in E. coli. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
