U2AF1L4, otherwise known as U2AF1L3, is an RNA-binding protein and member of the splicing factor SR family, which acts as a pre-mRNA splicing factor, enhancing the binding of U2AF2 to weak pyrimidine tracts, and playing a role in the regulation of alternative pre-mRNA splicing.
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Peptide ELISA: 1:32,000.
Western Blot: 0.1-0.3microg/ml. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Peptide Blocking:
Corresponding peptide is available for Peptide Blocking studies. See U0800-01-P. Antibody
