Kindlins are a small family of proteins that mediate protein-protein interactions involved in integrin activation and thereby have a role in cell adhesion, migration, differentiation, and proliferation. The protein encoded by this gene has a key role in the regulation of hemostasis and thrombosis. This protein may also help maintain the membrane skeleton of erythrocytes. Mutations in this gene cause the autosomal recessive leukocyte adhesion deficiency syndrome-III (LAD-III). Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. \n\nRecommended Dilutions: \nPeptide ELISA Titer: 1:2000\nWestern Blot: 1-3ug/ml detects ~75kD band observed in Human Peripheral Blood Mononucleocytes lysates (calculated MW of 75.4kD according to NP_113659.3).\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. \n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
