VDR is a member of the super family of steroid hormone receptors. It is known to play a role in cellular growth and differentiation, calcium and phosphorus metabolism and bone remodeling. Human breast carcinomas, leukemias, and prostatic carcinoma cells express VDR, which can modify their growth and differentiation. Applications:
Suitable for use in Dot Blot and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:
Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
