Von Willebrand Factor (vWF, Factor VIII Related Antigen) (BSA, Azide & Glycerol Free)

Von Willebrand Factor is synthesized by endothelial cells, causing adhesion of platelets to injured vessel walls and functions as a carrier and stabilizer for coagulation of Factor VIII. It is one of the most widely used endothelial cell markers for studying angiogenesis/neovascularization.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA, RIA, Immunofluorescence, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoperoxidase staining. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nWestern Blot: Detected vWF on 10ug of human placenta lysates. \nImmunoperoxidase: Indirect staining\nImmunohistochemistry: Frozen and formalin fixed sections.\nELISA, RIA: Plasma\nImmunofluorescence: Tissues\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nRecommended Secondary Antibodies:\nI1904-02C: IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Dk xMo \nI1904-03C: IgG, H&L (X-Adsorbed) (HRP) Pab Dk xMo\n\npI: 6.55\n\nSource: Ascites\n\nControl: Tonsil\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
