WAVE2 (Scar2)

Scar/WAVE, a Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein, assembles an actin-associated multi-kinase scaffold.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nWestern Blot: 1:500-1:2000 of this lot detected WAVE2/Scar2 in RIPA lysates from HL60 cells. HL60 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with W0951 (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nRecommended Secondary Antibodies: \nI1904-39: IgG, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb \nI1904-40A: IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb I1904-40J: IgG, Fc (HRP) Pab Gt xRb \nI1904-40P: IgG, Fc, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb \nI1904-41D: IgG, F(ab')2 (HRP) Pab Gt xRb\nI1904-41J: IgG, F(ab')2, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb I1904-46Q: IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Gt xRb\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Additional Info

Recognizes human WAVE2/Scar2, Mr ~68kD. An additional band, Mr ~64kD, is observed with longer exposures or when loading larger amounts of cell lysate. This band is not inhibited with the immunizing peptide. Species Crossreactivity: rat.
