This gene encoding NSD3 is related to the Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome candidate-1 gene and encodes a protein with PWWP (proline-tryptophan-tryptophan-proline) domains. NSD3 is Histone methyltransferase which preferentially methylates 'Lys-4' and 'Lys-27' of histone H3 and is amplified in several tumor cell lines and primary breast carcinomas.
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:1,000-1:3,000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma:
F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
