XRCC2 (X-Ray Cross Complementing 2) is a 34kD protein that is essential for repairing the double strand DNA breaks by homologous recombination between sister chromatids. It is homologous to Rad51. Five human homologues of RAD 51; XRCC2, XRCC3, RAD51B, RAD51C, RAD51D, interact among themselves to form one big complex or several smaller complexes. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:200 for 10min at RT Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10min followed by cooling at RT for 20min Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Testis Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C.
