ZBED3, CT (Zinc Finger BED Domain-containing Protein 3, Axin-interacting Protein, MGC15435)

Axin is a key modulator of the Wnt/beta-catenin pathway and acts as a scaffold protein in phosphorylating and degrading cytoplasmic beta-catenin. ZBED3, a member of the Zinc finger BED-type domain containing superfamily, has been recently identified as an Axin-interacting protein and has been suggested to modulate the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway. RNA interference (RNAi) experiments targeting ZBED3 RNA attenuated Wnt-induced beta-catenin accumulation, lymphoid enhancer binding factor-1-dependent luciferase reporter activity, and Wnt gene expression. Despite its predicted molecular weight, ZBED3 often migrates at a higher position in SDS-PAGE. This antibody is predicted to have no cross-reactivity to ZBED1 or ZBED2.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 1ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nHuman Lung Tissue Lysate\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
