ZBTB1 (Zinc Finger and BTB Domain-containing Protein 1, KIAA0997)

ZBTB1 is a zinc finger protein that also contains BTB (BR-C, ttk and bab) domain. While little is known about this protein or the related protein ZBTB2, its expression is known to be down-regulated in human bronchial epithelial cells in response to the presence of Vanadium. Recently, expression of variant ZBTB1 protein has been associated with increased age-related macular degeneration. At least two isoforms of ZBTB1 are known to exist. This ZBTB1 antibody will not cross-react with ZBTB2.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 1-2ug/ml\nImmunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 2.5ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nHuman spleen Cell Lysate\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
