ZBTB3 (Zinc Finger and BTB Domain-containing Protein 3, FLJ23392)

The ZBTB family of proteins is comprised of diverse zinc finger proteins that also contain a BTB (BR-C, ttk and bab) domain. While little is known about ZBTB3, the related protein ZBTB2 is thought to be phosphorylated in response to the DNA damage, probably by either ATM or ATR. Other ZBTB proteins, such as ZBTB4 and ZBTB38 bind methylated DNA and repress transcription, suggesting that ZBTB3 may also act as a transcription repressor.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 1-2ug/ml\nImmunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 2.5ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nRat Brain Tissue Lysate\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
