ARPC2 (ARPC2, actin related protein 2/3 complex, subunit 2, 34kDa, ARC34, PRO2446, p34-Arc, PNAS-139, ARP2/3 protein compex subunit 34)

This gene encodes one of seven subunits of the human Arp2/3 protein complex. The Arp2/3 protein complex has been implicated in the control of actin polymerization in cells and has been conserved through evolution. The exact role of the protein encoded by this gene, the p34 subunit, has yet to be determined. Two alternatively spliced variants have been characterized to date. Additional alternatively spliced variants have been described but their full length nature has not been determined.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. \n\nRecommended Dilutions: \nPeptide ELISA: >1:32,000. \nWestern Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/ml. ~33-34kD band observed in Hela and Human Muscle lysates (predicted MW of 34kD according to NP_005722).\nImmunohistochemistry: 3-5ug/ml paraffin embedded Human Spleen shows cytoplasm staining in some splenocytes in and around a T-cell area. Staining (0.2ug/ml) of Hela lysate (RIPA buffer, 35ug total protein per lane). Primary incubated for 1 hour. Detected by western blot using chemiluminescence.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. \n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
