Avidin D, Fluorescein labeled, having an excitation at 495nm and an emission at about 515nm, is made from highly purified Avidin D by a special labeling technique. High fluorochrome to protein ratio and is the reagent we recommend for routine immuno-fluorescence applications. Compared to conventional primary and secondary fluorescent labeling techniques, Fluorescein Avidin D can provide greater sensitivity and lower background staining.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: 5-30ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
F/P (molar):

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
