Potent, broad spectrum matrix metalloprotease (MMP) inhibitor (IC?? values are 3, 4, 4, 6 and 20 nM for MMP -1, -2, -9, -7 and -3 respectively). Exhibits antiproliferative, anti-invasive and antimetastatic activity in human ovarian carcinoma xenografts in vivo. Solubility: DMSO (~100mM) Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with DMSO. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
