Caspase 3 (CPP32, YAMA, Apopain) (CPP-32, Apoptain, Yama, SCA-1)

Caspase-3 is a 32kD protein, activated during apoptosis by cleavage into 17kD and 11kD fragments. \nIn immunohistochemical studies Caspase-3 expression has been shown to be widespread, but not present in all cell types. Differences in the level of Caspase-3 have been reported in cells of short-lived nature (e. g. germinal center B cells) and those that are long lived (e. g. mantle zone B cells).\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:50-1:250. Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.\nWestern Blot: 1:500\nOptimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher.\n\nRecommended Secondary Reagents: \nI1903-30U Sheep anti Rabbit IgG: HRP\n\nRecommended Positive Control Tissue: \nLymph node/kidney\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
