CD18 associates with CD11a to form a heterodimeric adhesion molecule known as Lymphocyte Function Associated Antigen-1 (LFA-1). LFA-1 binds to the intracellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1, CD54). CD18 also associates with CD11b and CD11c. CD11b and CD18 form the complex known as Mac-4. CD18 and CD11c form a complex that binds to fibrogen and iC3b.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nFlow Cytometry: 5ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul. Excitation: 488nm with argon laser. Emission: 525nm.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
