The CD1d gene product is a 49kD heavy chain associated with Beta 2 microglobulin on cortical thymocytes. Beta 2 microglobulin independent expression of CD1d has also been demonstrated on human intestinal epithelial cells.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: frozen and paraffin sections
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma:
NSO myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
