Human CD24 is a glycosyl phosphatidyl inositol (GPI) anchored surface protein found on B cells during multiple stages of development from precursor to the onset of plasma cell differentiation. Recognizes a sialic acid-dependent epitope of human CD24 of approximately 35/45kD. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 5x10e5 cultured Nalm-6 human tumor cells were washed and incubated 45 min on ice with 80ul of anti-CD24 at 10ug/ml. Cells were washed twice and incubated with Goat anti-Mouse/FITC, after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.01 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgM negative control at a similar concentration. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
