CD3 (Early T Cell Marker, T Cell receptor Complex, TCR)

Rat CD3 a 25kD antigen which is found on rat T-cells. Does not react with rat B cells. In immunohistology it stains rat thymus tissues strongly in the medulla and weakly in the cortex. Functionally the addition of the antibody to a culture of rat T cells induces the proliferation of T-cells in the presence of PMA.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nFlow Cytometry: 1:10-1:25. Use 10ul label 10e6 cells in 100ul.\nImmunohistochemistry: (frozen)- 1:10-1:25\n(paraffin) requires Antigen retreval\nOptimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher.\n\nRecommended Secondary Reagents: \nRecomme:nded Secondary Antibodies:\nI1905-18D: IgM (X-Adsorbed) (FITC) Pab GtxMo\nI1905-04A: IgM (X-Adsorbed) (PE) Pab GtxMo\nI1905-28A: IgM (X-Adsorbed) (HRP) Pab GtxMo\n\nHybridoma: \nP3X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
