CD46 (AHUS2, MCP, Membrane cofactor protein, MGC26544, MIC10, TLX, TRA2.10, Trophoblast leukocyte common antigen)

Human CD46 is a cell surface glycoprotein expressed on almost all human cells except erythrocytes. CD46 is involved with regulation of complement activation and is also a measles virus receptor. \n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nFlow Cytometry: 5x10e5 cultured human HPB-MLT cells per tube were washed and incubated 45 min on ice with 80ul of anti-CD46 antibody at a concentration of 5ug/ml. Cells were washed twice and incubated with Goat anti-Mouse IgG/FITC, after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.20 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG2a negative control at a similar concentration.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
