Additional info: Recognizes human and porcine CD58 (LFA-3), a 40-70kD glycoprotein anchored to the cellular membrane by two types of mechanisms: transmembrane anchored form and glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored form. CD58 is distributed over many tissues, leukocytes, erythrocytes, endothelial cells, epithelial cells and fibroblasts. MEM-63 inhibits CD2-CD58 interactions. Reacts with human and pig.
