CAS (cellular apoptosis susceptibility) contains 971aa with 59% overall sequence homology as compared to yeast chromosome segregation homolog, CSE1. CAS is highly expressed in testis and fetal liver. CAS expression in human fibroblasts increases as cells are induced to proliferate and decreases in growth arrested cells.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml for 2h at RT
Immunohistochemistry: 1:100 for 10min at RT
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10min followed by cooling at RT for 20min
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:
HeLa an NIH/3T3 cells
