Collagen Type II (BSA & Azide Free)

Cat no: C7510-18ZX

Collagen Type II (BSA & Azide Free)

Applications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution: \nWestern Blot: 1-2ug/ml for 2hrs at RT.\nImmunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1-2ug/ml for 30 min at RT. Staining of formalin/paraffin tissues requires digestion of tissue sections with pepsin at 1mg/ml Tris-HCl, pH 2.0 for 15 min at RT or 10 min at 37 degrees C.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control: \nCartilage in lung or fetus.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at-20 degrees C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at-20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
